Split PDF: extract pages free, no sign-up.

Pull the pages you need out of a PDF: enter ranges like 1-3, 5, 8- or create one file every N pages. It runs in your browser, with no accounts and no watermarks.

Your file never leaves your device: the PDF is split in your browser.

How it works

  1. 01

    Load your PDF

Drag the file in or click "browse". You will see its thumbnail and page count.

  2. 02

    Choose how to split

    Type comma-separated ranges (1-3, 5, 8-) or pick "Every N pages" for equal-sized chunks.

  3. 03

    Download the result

If you create one file you get a PDF; if there are several, a ZIP with all the parts.

Extract PDF pages safely

Splitting a PDF is useful when you only need part of a document: sending a single chapter, pulling one invoice out of a scanned batch, or separating a contract from its annexes. Instead of forwarding the whole file, you share only what is needed.

The tool has two modes. By ranges, you type something like "1-3, 5, 8-" and each range becomes one file; "8-" runs to the last page. With "Every N pages" the document is cut into equal blocks, which is ideal for breaking up a large scan.

Everything happens in your browser, so documents with sensitive data never pass through a server. Files up to 50 MB are supported. If you later need to put parts back together, use our merge PDF tool.

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Your files never leave your device: the split runs in your browser and we keep no copy.
How do I write page ranges?
Separate them with commas: "1-3, 5, 8-" creates three files (pages 1 to 3, page 5, and page 8 to the end). Each range is a separate PDF.
Can I extract a single page?
Yes. Type just the number, for example "7", and you get a PDF with that page.
What happens if I create several files?
They are bundled into one ZIP with ordered names. If there is only one, it downloads directly as a PDF.
Is there a size limit?
The file can be up to 50 MB. There is no limit on splits per day and no watermark is applied.
